Role Overview
Anthropic is hiring a Partner Success Lead to manage customer engagements across a network of consulting and systems integration partners in North America. This professional will ensure that projects finish on scope, client Claude usage grows steadily, and any stalled engagements are swiftly diagnosed and unblocked. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment and possesses a strong background in customer success, delivery management, or partner-led businesses.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee every customer engagement in the assigned book from the moment of partner match to a fully completed outcome, tracking scope, timelines, blockers, and consumption trends weekly.
Lead weekly delivery and at-risk account reviews, bringing proactive diagnoses, clear ownership, and specific action plans for stalled projects.
Resolve issues regarding partner capacity, scope creep, customer readiness, and product inquiries by coordinating directly with internal teams.
Cultivate strong executive relationships with partner practice and delivery leadership to establish trust for necessary escalations or restaffing.
Help build out each partner's Claude practice by encouraging certified bench depth, repeatable industry offerings, and published customer success stories.
Translate successful operational strategies into repeatable methodologies, review packs, unblocking plays, and practice-building guides.
Conduct quarterly practice reviews with partner alliance and delivery leads to evaluate joint goals, adoption metrics, certified practitioners, and positioning.
Review and steward partner co-investment and market development funding requests against measurable outcomes and milestones.
Requirements
Experience managing a high-volume portfolio of concurrent customer engagements, projects, or accounts, typically ranging from 10 to 30 at a time.
Demonstrated track record of meeting goals tied to completed work, adoption, retention, and consumption rather than just contract signatures.
Strong judgment in evaluating partner delivery plans to anticipate risks, spot scope issues, and handle matrixed escalations effectively.
Exceptional public speaking and presentation abilities for audiences ranging from partner executives to internal leadership.
Solid understanding of usage-based business models, customer success metrics, and consumption trends.
Technical fluency sufficient to follow partner architect walkthroughs of real Claude engagements and ask substantive questions.
Active daily use of large language models like Claude for daily workflows such as drafting account plans and analyzing book metrics.
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and professional experience.
Nice to Have
5 to 8 years of experience working with consulting and systems integration partners, or in delivery-facing customer success at a software or cloud platform company.
Direct background working with global systems integrators or regional boutique firms, understanding how their delivery practices operate.
Experience managing red or at-risk account reviews, setting up surge teams, or anchoring contract delivery coordinators.
Industry vertical depth in financial services, healthcare, public sector, retail, or manufacturing.
Experience managing co-investment or market development funds and conducting productive quarterly business reviews with practice leads.
