National Security Partnerships Lead, Intelligence and International Security
About this role
Managing relationships with the U.S. Intelligence Community and allied security services forms the core of daily operations for the National Security Partnerships Lead at Anthropic. Reporting directly to the Head of National Security Policy, the person in this position will advise company leadership on intelligence matters and help partner security organizations build governance frameworks for adopting frontier AI safely and rapidly. Working closely with public sector sales, legal, security, and threat intelligence teams, the incoming strategist will own government partnerships end-to-end, setting agendas, structuring agreements, and channeling partner requirements back into product and research decisions.
Anthropic creates reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems while maintaining a collaborative, research-driven environment focused on large-scale science. Ideal candidates bring substantial experience in national security along with active or recent TS/SCI clearance, strong negotiation skills, and the capacity to explain technical subjects clearly to senior policymakers without overstating capabilities.
