Deliver user-facing interfaces with React, Next.js, and TypeScript to display streaming progress, handle reconnectable sessions, and allow users to review AI output.
Ensure system observability by connecting APIs and agent execution through Datadog, OpenTelemetry tracing, structured logs, and metrics.
Partner with Applied AI engineers on evaluations, regression checks, and testing using tools like Braintrust to improve agent behavior.
Take features from initial ideas to production deployment while collaborating with product and customer teams.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of software engineering experience building and shipping production software across backend services or fullstack applications.
Strong expertise in Python and FastAPI, including asynchronous programming, validation, authentication, and error handling for production services.
Solid understanding of systems fundamentals, service contracts, data models, PostgreSQL, Redis, concurrency, transactions, and failure recovery.
Experience building AI applications or infrastructure, including tool calling, context management, agent sessions, and application logic boundaries.
Proficiency across the full stack using React, Next.js, and TypeScript to connect user interfaces with backend APIs.
Ability to investigate production issues using traces, logs, and metrics while prioritizing testing, security, and maintainability.
