Role Overview

The Manager, Media Innovation & AI Strategy position at WPP Media in Toronto, Canada is a full-time hybrid role requiring time in the office around four days a week. The professional serves as the strategic architect for client success, guiding data, technology, and AI initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and articulate compelling strategic narratives using Open Media Studio to translate complex technical concepts into business value propositions.
Lead high-level solution designs to ensure Open Media Studio deployments align with client strategies and business objectives.
Cultivate trusted advisor relationships with key stakeholders as the primary point of contact for Open, OMS, Data, Audience, and AI initiatives.
Identify potential challenges and collaborate with internal teams, including the Enablement Manager, to resolve issues.
Partner with cross-functional teams to champion the DIPAM process connecting Creative and Media teams within WPP Open.
Communicate the impact and return on investment of AI-driven solutions to clients.
Support thought leadership in data-driven marketing and media solutions by guiding clients on industry trends.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, computer science, or a related field.
Proficiency with media, planning, strategy, and measurement solutions.
Familiarity with and curiosity in AI, machine learning, and agentic solutions.
Knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts.
Strong project management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
