Role Overview

In this position, participants work alongside the Legal & Compliance team and collaborate with Product, Risk, Privacy, Marketing, and Business partners. The role provides deep immersion into how a high-growth financial technology platform manages legal risk, contract obligations, and regulatory frameworks. Participants sit in on high-level compliance meetings, contract reviews, and policy discussions while engaging in structured professional development and networking activities.

Key Responsibilities

Support contract drafting and review processes across active initiatives.
Conduct detailed regulatory research concerning financial services, artificial intelligence, and marketing.
Help develop and update internal policies, including privacy notices and AI governance frameworks.
Assist with compliance reviews, data privacy assessments like CCPA and CPRA, and advertising compliance checks for regulations such as TCPA, CAN-SPAM, and UDAAP.
Attend professional development workshops covering technical skills, resume building, and interview preparation.
Network with company leadership and participate in team social events.

Requirements

Current enrollment in law school with a demonstrated interest in financial services, regulatory compliance, data privacy, artificial intelligence, or marketing law.
Completed relevant coursework, clinic work, or academic projects touching emerging-technology, privacy, or financial regulations.
At least one prior internship, clerkship, or substantial personal or academic project history.
Full-time availability for the eight-week program running from June 21 to August 13, 2027.
Ability to work from the New York City office at least three to four days per week.
Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, organizational, and clear communication skills.
Proactive, collaborative, and low-ego mindset suited for a rapidly moving organization.
