Role Overview

The Lead AI Engineer will direct the development and deployment of practical AI solutions across influencer intelligence, creator workflows, social commerce, and large-scale data analysis. This execution-focused role combines technical leadership, product innovation, and hands-on AI engineering. The chosen candidate will collaborate closely with product, engineering, strategy, and regional market teams to shape and deploy AI-powered features used across APAC and global client initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered features across proprietary platforms using large language models, multimodal AI, embeddings, vector search, and AI agents.
Build and optimize applications leveraging modern AI ecosystems like OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, and Vertex AI while improving prompt engineering and RAG architectures.
Develop scalable AI services and APIs, supporting MLOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployment best practices on platforms like AWS or GCP.
Work with structured and unstructured datasets including social, creator, video, image, commerce, and campaign data to support scalable data pipelines and AI infrastructure.
Continuously evaluate emerging AI technologies, prototype new concepts rapidly, and help shape the product AI roadmap.
Mentor junior AI engineers, establish engineering best practices, and collaborate cross-functional with stakeholders.

Requirements

5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, machine learning, or applied AI roles, with recent hands-on focus on generative AI and LLM applications.
Strong proficiency in Python, modern AI development frameworks, APIs, and backend service creation.
Hands-on expertise with LLMs, generative AI systems, vector databases, RAG architectures, and MLOps workflows.
Experience contributing to data lake architecture design and validating AI-ready data infrastructure supporting scalable pipelines and semantic search.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform or Amazon Web Services, alongside Docker and CI/CD workflows.
Proven background in leading projects or mentoring junior technical resources in fast-paced environments.

Nice to Have

Experience working within the social media, creator economy, influencer marketing, recommendation systems, or commerce platforms sectors.
Familiarity with semantic search, content intelligence, automation workflows, and AI agents.
Exposure to integrating artificial intelligence into enterprise or software-as-a-service platforms.
