Role Overview

The Lead Agentic AI Engineer acts as the main technical expert for designing, building, and running enterprise autonomous agent systems connected to the Salesforce platform. The professional creates multi-agent workflows using large language models and modern orchestration engines to connect business needs with software engineering.

Key Responsibilities

Design stateful multi-agent coordination graphs featuring supervisor orchestration, dynamic task breakdown, human-in-the-loop escalation, and error recovery.
Develop standardized Model Context Protocol servers and connectors to connect Salesforce actions, objects, and tools to agent runners.
Manage context engineering and query routes across model tiers to balance accuracy, latency, and token expenditure.
Create automated evaluation harnesses within CI/CD pipelines to test hallucination resistance, grounding, and schema validity.
Set up full-stack observability and security measures including input sanitization, PII scrubbing, and field-level security.
Direct technical delivery benchmarks by defining architectural blueprints and API interface contracts for cross-functional teams.

Requirements

Seven or more years of practical enterprise software engineering background utilizing Python, Java, TypeScript or Node.js, and Apex.
Three or more years of production background creating, evaluating, and scaling LLM-driven applications and multi-agent workflows.
Deep proficiency with LangChain or LangGraph, Anthropic and Claude APIs, Model Context Protocol, and observability tools.
Practical background utilizing automated LLM evaluation suites as automated test gates.
Strong debugging skills for diagnosing non-deterministic model behavior, latency issues, and context degradation.
Advanced professional fluency in written and spoken English for client consultations.

Nice to Have

Integration background with Salesforce REST, Composite, and Bulk APIs, SOQL, SOSL, Platform Events, and Connected Apps.
Exposure to Salesforce Data Cloud, vector search tools, or Agentforce architectures.
Background deploying containerized Model Context Protocol servers within CRM security perimeters.
Practical exposure to Spec-Driven Development methodologies for AI-assisted delivery workflows.
