About this role
Developing custom automations, integrations, and AI-assisted workflows to lift routine administrative duties off the IT service desk constitutes a major part of the daily routine. Engineers in this function also engineer self-service applications that allow internal employees to securely handle provisioning, access management, and troubleshooting without manual intervention.

What you will do
- Design and build automations to handle repetitive service desk tasks like provisioning, access requests, and troubleshooting using AI technologies.
- Ship self-service tools that enable internal customers to resolve routine IT requests independently and securely.
- Develop creative custom applications to extend the functionality of existing enterprise tools.
- Implement integrations and workflow automations utilizing REST APIs and Webhooks within continuous integration solutions.
- Resolve user issues autonomously while navigating ambiguous project requirements and identifying practical solutions.
What you need
- Minimum of three years of professional experience working in IT Engineering.
- Demonstrated experience managing design, productivity, and collaboration tools.
- Proficiency in leveraging at least one programming language such as Python, Go, or Rust.
- Proven track record of developing end-user applications and workflow automations utilizing REST APIs and Webhooks.
- Ability to work autonomously, take complete ownership of complex projects, and resolve user issues in ambiguous environments.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities for working effectively alongside cross-functional teams.
Nice to have
- DevOps experience involving CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and operating production services.
- Experience applying artificial intelligence and large language models to internal tooling or support workflows.
- Background in conducting security architecture or design reviews for custom business applications.
- Experience implementing enterprise-scale onboarding and off-boarding automations.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code languages like Terraform or AWS CDK in production.
