This senior leadership role is ideal for an experienced recruiting professional looking to build a high-performing hiring engine during a period of rapid organizational growth.

Role Overview

CodePath operates as the largest educator of college computer science students in the country, expanding rapidly to meet the demands of an AI-driven workforce. Reporting directly to the Head of People, the Head of Talent Acquisition will set the vision for how the company attracts, evaluates, and hires talent across product, engineering, growth, curriculum, and revenue. This is a full-time, remote position based in the United States where the individual will operate in a hands-on capacity to design the systems, grow the team, and partner closely with senior leadership and the board.

Key Responsibilities

Define and execute the comprehensive talent acquisition strategy to match company growth plans.
Ensure pipeline volume and quality across every open role so searches yield strong finalist slates.
Build and scale the talent acquisition team, hiring and developing recruiters, sourcers, and managers.
Own the end-to-end hiring system, including rubrics, interview stages, scorecards, and evaluation gates.
Shape the employer brand and establish always-on talent pools to draw qualified candidates organically.
Partner directly with the senior leadership team and hiring managers on role definition, calibration, and strategic hiring decisions.
Manage the talent acquisition budget, tool stack, and vendor strategy.

Requirements

10 or more years of experience in talent acquisition, featuring demonstrated success leading the function through periods of significant growth.
Proven background in building or rebuilding a hiring function rather than just maintaining one.
Strong data-driven approach, utilizing funnel math and conversion rates to make strategic investment and sizing decisions.
Experience building, sizing, and managing a recruiting team of recruiters and managers.
High credibility working with executives and corporate boards to maintain hiring standards.
Expertise in using AI tools as multipliers for administrative tasks while keeping human judgment central to hiring decisions.
Hands-on experience personally owning recruiting outcomes within a team environment.

Nice to Have

Experience owning talent acquisition across both technical and non-technical functions concurrently.
Fluency with Greenhouse, Gem, and LinkedIn Recruiter, alongside a history of selecting and running a TA tool stack.
Background working in a high-growth startup or a mission-driven organization.
Demonstrated history of developing robust employer brands and always-on talent pools.
