Key Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and expand a team of analysts and business intelligence practitioners by handling hiring, career growth, and prioritization.
Proactively shape corporate strategy by identifying key data levers, quantifying opportunities, and delivering actionable insights to executive leadership.
Own the core metric layer by establishing and maintaining consistent definitions for utilization, retention, net revenue retention, margins, and marketplace supply and demand health.
Create the analytics roadmap alongside Product, Finance, and Go-to-Market leaders to balance recurring reporting with impactful deep-dive analysis.
Analyze consumption-based revenue and customer behavior, covering cohort retention, usage expansion and churn, savings plan adoption, and serverless workload economics.
Develop a self-serve analytics framework to empower stakeholders to handle routine inquiries independently.
Collaborate with Data Engineering on data modeling, quality, freshness, and SOC 2 requirements.
Implement experimentation and measurement standards with clear guardrails for interpretation.
Present executive and board-level reporting by turning ambiguous business questions into clear recommendations.

Requirements

Minimum of 8 years of working background in analytics, business intelligence, or data science, including accountability for critical business metrics.
At least 3 years of management history leading analytics or business intelligence teams.
Deep hands-on proficiency in SQL and modern analytics engineering practices, such as dbt, alongside solid data warehouse expertise.
Practical background working with usage-based, consumption, or marketplace business models and associated unit economics.
Proven capability to build a unified metric layer from disorganized data and drive company-wide adoption.
Strong judgment, urgency, and the capacity to deliver timely, directionally correct solutions.
Objective problem-solving approach focused on the best outcomes for the business.
Ability to thrive successfully within a fast-paced startup setting.
Advanced communication and stakeholder management abilities across multiple departments.
Successful completion of a pre-employment background check.
Eligibility to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship.

Nice to Have

Advanced degree in Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience in analytics leadership.
