Role Overview

The GTM Systems Engineer at LiveKit is a full-time remote position based in North America that focuses on building and maintaining the foundational revenue infrastructure and intelligent automation workflows. This role is well-suited for an experienced systems engineer who enjoys owning critical data platforms, optimizing CRM systems, and developing AI-driven operational tools for a fast-growing technology company.

Key Responsibilities

Own Salesforce as the primary engineering system of record for revenue, managing data models, custom objects, automation flows, and access control.
Manage HubSpot for marketing campaigns and lead generation, ensuring seamless and accurate data synchronization with Salesforce.
Build, maintain, and monitor integrations across the entire go-to-market stack, including Gong, Clay, Common Room, and billing platforms.
Design data flows from revenue systems to the central data platform in collaboration with analytics engineering teams.
Deploy and extend AI agentic workflows that consume business data, detect actionable signals, and automate manual operations.
Establish robust observability, dashboards, and runbooks to catch system anomalies before sales and marketing teams notice issues.
Execute disciplined change management procedures across customer relationship management systems.
Collaborate directly with sales and marketing stakeholders to translate business requirements into stable system functionality.

Requirements

Extensive hands-on technical expertise with Salesforce, treating the platform as a robust engineering system rather than just a basic administration tool.
Demonstrated operational experience with HubSpot in a marketing context, including managing complex synchronization logic with Salesforce.
Proven integration engineering background using APIs, webhooks, and event streams to prevent silent failures.
Code-first mindset utilizing scripting, command-line interfaces, and application programming interfaces over graphical user interfaces.
Practical experience designing and deploying programmatic AI agent workflows with custom prompts, orchestration logic, and safety guardrails.
Strong background in implementing strict change management practices within live production systems.
Ability to communicate effectively and partner directly with internal stakeholders across sales and marketing departments.

Nice to Have

Familiarity with Salesforce CPQ functionality covering approvals, discounting rules, and closed-won-to-billing pipelines.
Fluency in SQL and data modeling principles alongside warehouse-centric stacks like Snowflake and dbt.
Previous experience integrating billing platforms such as Stripe or Zuora with revenue operations systems.
