About this role

Niantic Spatial is seeking a GTM, Embodied AI professional to build customer pipelines and strategic relationships in San Francisco. This remote-friendly hybrid opportunity is ideal for an entrepreneurial and relentless closer who thrives on building early-stage markets and advancing physical artificial intelligence solutions.

Role Overview

Operating closely alongside the General Manager of the Embodied AI group, this role focuses on overcoming the sim-to-real gap for visual-spatial understanding. The professional maps the market, builds qualified pipeline, and secures business contracts while directly collaborating with product development teams. This position operates with significant independence and real responsibility, perfectly suited for a natural-born seller who relishes the challenge of shaping a maturing product without a finished playbook.

Key Responsibilities

Map the market by building and maintaining a comprehensive view of prospects, use cases, funding, hiring, and deployments.
Open doors through targeted outreach, events, and established relationships within the robotics and embodied AI communities.
Qualify and learn by immersing in customer workflows, bringing candid product-market alignment feedback to leadership.
Develop relationships by offering useful insights and partnering with marketing on content, introductions, and events.
Close business by managing opportunities through evaluation, proposal, negotiation, signature, and internal handoffs.
Shape the commercial model by designing simple solutions for early deal structures and product maturation.

Requirements

Established relationships with founders, engineering leaders, or buyers in robotics, embodied AI, or related infrastructure and tooling.
Demonstrated experience personally winning early customers for a technical product under ambiguous conditions.
Proven track record of shaping deals, turning customer problems into concrete offers, and securing budget commitments.
Direct evidence of altering a team's targeting, offerings, or sales approach based on customer learnings.
Strong credibility with technical buyers, including the ability to converse about simulation, training data, evaluation, reinforcement learning, and sim-to-real transfer.
A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to Have

Experience turning initial pilots into sustained usage, renewals, or expansion.
Proven ability to transform a handful of early wins into a repeatable cross-customer approach.
Background partnering with or selling within the NVIDIA robotics ecosystem.
Prior experience selling into defense or industrial robotics teams.

Skills and Tools

Exceptional skills in market mapping, pipeline building, customer qualification, and commercial negotiation.
Technical fluency to understand and discuss complex engineering workflows, simulation, and spatial intelligence concepts.
Strategic tenacity combined with a painful sense of urgency and intellectual honesty.
Pragmatic problem-solving abilities to navigate ambiguity and design effective commercial frameworks.

Salary and Benefits

This position offers an annual base salary range between $175,500 and $230,000 in USD. Total compensation also includes an annual bonus, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package featuring medical, dental, and vision coverage, alongside a 401(k) plan.
