This full-time position is ideal for an experienced developer with a strong background in frontend technologies and a passion for consumer-facing applications.

Role Overview

As a Frontend Engineer at Loora, the selected professional will take charge of building web applications that support the core AI English tutor, business dashboards, and user acquisition initiatives. The web serves as a primary product surface for the company, making this role vital for delivering high-performance user experiences. The engineer will manage features through their entire lifecycle, transitioning designs into functional interfaces while collaborating with product and design teams.

Key Responsibilities

Construct and deliver core product features for the AI English learning web experience, acquisition funnels, dashboards, SEO pages, and the main company site.
Convert Figma mockups into clean, responsive, and precise user interfaces.
Expand and refine the internal component library.
Coordinate directly with designers, product managers, and non-technical staff to shape feature requirements.
Optimize web and mobile-web performance regarding load times, rendering speeds, and bundle sizes.
Establish and maintain test coverage for newly developed features.
Make independent technical decisions and trade-offs within the assigned scope.
Integrate AI and agentic coding tools into daily development workflows.
Contribute to backend Python codebases when necessary to overcome development blockages.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of professional frontend development experience, preferably on consumer products with high traffic.
Demonstrated production experience with React, TypeScript, and Next.js at scale.
Proficiency in CSS Modules and modern CSS techniques including Grid, animations, transitions, and custom properties.
Strong capability in translating Figma designs into high-fidelity code.
Background in creating or maintaining component libraries or design systems using tools like Storybook.
Comprehensive knowledge of web and mobile performance optimization principles.
Experience with automated testing, specifically end-to-end testing via Playwright.
Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration with engineers, designers, and non-technical stakeholders.
Practical experience utilizing AI and agentic coding tools in production environments.
Strong product sense and independent decision-making abilities.

Nice to Have

Previous work with headless content management systems such as Strapi.
Familiarity with A/B testing platforms like Statsig, LaunchDarkly, GrowthBook, or PostHog.
Understanding of analytics and tracking infrastructure including Mixpanel and attribution tools.
