Role Overview

Loora is hiring an AI Researcher to join the R&D team in Tel Aviv for a full-time, remote-friendly position. This role suits an advanced machine learning professional eager to design core intelligence capabilities and shape the future of language learning technology.

Key Responsibilities

Lead original artificial intelligence research spanning large language models, dialogue systems, speech, and language comprehension, managing the entire lifecycle from initial hypothesis to final production deployment.
Create and execute thorough experiments, establishing innovative model architectures, fine-tuning approaches, and training methods.
Own every phase of the research cycle including ideation, experimentation, evaluation, and rollout into live production environments.
Implement and expand cutting-edge methodologies such as reinforcement learning, instruction tuning, retrieval-augmented generation, agentic workflows, and multimodal models to solve practical user challenges.
Partner closely with engineering and product divisions to convert research discoveries into functional, shipped features.
Establish the research direction within specific domains and participate in shaping the long-term artificial intelligence roadmap for the organization.

Requirements

Hold an MSc or a PhD in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing, or a closely related discipline.
Demonstrate a proven history of translating academic research into practical industry solutions.
Present a robust publication history in leading venues such as NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, ACL, EMNLP, or NAACL.
Exhibit verified experience researching and launching production-grade machine learning and artificial intelligence systems.
Possess strong programming abilities and comfort navigating the boundary between research and production.
