Role Overview

Warner Music Group is seeking a remote Forward Deployed Engineer, Data & AI based in Ontario for a full-time position within the Data Platform department. This role is ideal for a skilled software and data professional who enjoys collaborating directly with business stakeholders to solve diverse technical challenges.

As part of the newly established Forward Deployed Engineering Team within WMG Global Tech's Data and Insights Organization, this position focuses on rapidly building and deploying automation and advanced solutions. The professional in this role will turn time-consuming manual tasks into efficient digital workflows using cutting-edge data and AI tools.

Key Responsibilities

Partner directly with important business stakeholders across labels and global functions to deliver rapid data and AI solutions.

Design and execute full stack solution engineering, including data pipelining and data interoperability.

Develop backend applications using Python to support various business requirements.

Build interactive dashboards and Streamlit applications for end users.

Leverage advanced AI tools from Databricks and Snowflake, such as Genie and Cortex, to accelerate solution delivery.

Translate non-technical customer pain points into effective, automated workflows.

Skills and Tools

Python for backend development
