Role Overview

The Data and Insights Organization within WMG Global Tech operates a specialized Forward Deployed Engineering Team. This group partners with Product Solutions and business stakeholders across global functions and labels to build automated workflows. The role requires bridging the gap between non-technical users and advanced technology to transform time-consuming manual tasks into streamlined digital processes.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver impactful solutions by collaborating with diverse stakeholders to simplify complex workflows.

Handle full-stack engineering tasks spanning backend systems, frontend interfaces, data pipelines, Python, and React.

Design, build, and deploy production-ready AI solutions that accelerate internal stakeholders.

Apply strong product sense to understand vague problem spaces and deliver results without curated requirements.

Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences ranging from entry-level staff to executives.

Utilize AI tools such as Gemini, Cortex Code, and Genie Code to accelerate development cycles.

Adapt quickly to varying technical challenges and domains on a daily basis.

Ensure created solutions align with the broader Data and Insights engineering roadmap and standards.

Establish system frameworks, technical guidelines, and operational playbooks.

Publish custom implementations as reusable internal marketplace assets.

Requirements

Possess at least six years of professional software engineering experience.

Bring direct exposure to working with customers.

Demonstrate strong proficiency in Python programming.

Have hands-on experience building data pipelines and ETL processes.

Show familiarity with either Snowflake or Databricks platforms.

Exhibit prior usage of tools like Genie Code, Cortex Code, Notebooks, and Streamlit.
