Role Overview

Anthropic is hiring a Field Marketing Lead, Cybersecurity to drive global field marketing efforts targeted at CISOs, security practitioners, and buying committees. This position involves aligning closely with sales organizations, collaborating with cybersecurity experts, and designing targeted regional programs across global markets.

Key Responsibilities

Own the global cybersecurity field marketing plan, defining program calendars and aligning success metrics with sales leadership
Collaborate with worldwide sales teams to build account-based programs that expand footprints and open new opportunities
Partner with product and solutions marketing teams to transform cybersecurity use cases into awareness and demand campaigns
Develop field marketing strategies and tools such as playbooks, program kits, and event recommendations for regional teams
Design and execute flagship field events, including executive roundtables, CISO dinners, and presences at major industry conferences
Serve as the cybersecurity field lead for integrated campaigns, ensuring regional execution matches global strategy
Relay customer and analyst feedback back to product, sales, and marketing leadership
Measure sourced and influenced pipeline metrics alongside marketing operations
Maintain technical accuracy and focus on responsible deployment without relying on fear-based messaging
Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders across sales, campaigns, regional marketing, and communications

Requirements

Working fluency in the cybersecurity landscape with enough technical depth to engage CISOs and practitioners
Demonstrated history of partnering with sales teams on pipeline generation and account expansion
Experience managing both integrated campaigns and field marketing initiatives
Background in leading global programs across multiple regions and enabling local teams
Ability to influence without authority across diverse cross-functional groups
Comfort operating independently within ambiguous environments
Fluency in pipeline attribution analytics
Experience translating technical product positioning into field programs
Adaptability across various customer segments ranging from startups to large enterprises

Nice to Have

Eight or more years of B2B marketing experience with a focus on cybersecurity buyers
Hands-on professional background as a security practitioner, sales engineer, or security product marketer
Familiarity with enterprise AI adoption and how AI impacts security work
Experience marketing trust-sensitive or dual-use products centered on responsible deployment
Existing professional relationships within the security community, including CISO networks and analysts
Experience marketing to regulated industries, the public sector, or security technology partners
