About this role
Guiding high-stakes customer engagements through executive briefings, workshops, and on-site visits forms the core of daily activities for the Field Executive Architect at Anthropic. Collaborating alongside Sales and Applied AI teams, the person in this position partners with C-suite executives and senior technical leaders at major enterprises to shape AI adoption strategies and secure deal momentum. Internally, the individual serves as a vital bridge between field operations and the product organization, translating customer feedback into actionable roadmap priorities.

What you will do
- Engage directly with C-suite and senior technical leaders at the largest accounts to align stakeholders around a clear vision for AI adoption.
- Prepare for and lead high-stakes customer interactions such as executive briefings, briefings centers, and on-site workshops.
- Partner with Sales and Applied AI teams before and after meetings to plan approaches, debrief, and ensure vision translates to execution.
- Maintain executive relationships on high-momentum accounts to provide ongoing strategic guidance and sustain deal momentum.
- Serve as an internal sponsor for enterprise customer needs by translating field feedback into clear product priorities.
- Bridge the gap between the field organization and the product organization to help both sides understand mutual priorities and constraints.
- Travel regularly to customer sites for executive engagements, workshops, and strategic account meetings.
What you need
- Fifteen plus years of experience in enterprise technology, with significant time spent in senior technical leadership or technical sales roles.
- A track record of engaging credibly with C-suite executives and senior technical leaders at large enterprises.
- Deep understanding of how large organizations evaluate, buy, and scale technology from a leadership or sales perspective.
- Sufficient technical depth to understand modern AI systems alongside strong business acumen to connect capabilities to outcomes.
- Experience translating between technical and business audiences with clarity and conviction.
- Informed opinions on what makes enterprise technology adoption succeed or fail based on prior leadership experience.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and move fast in a rapidly evolving market without a detailed playbook.

What is the remote or hybrid work policy?
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
What is the compensation range for this role?
The annual compensation range for this role is $400,000 to $500,000 USD. For sales roles, the range provided is the role's On Target Earnings range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Does Anthropic offer visa sponsorship?
