What you will do
- Lead and grow a team of engineers building full-stack internal tools for business-critical use cases.
- Partner with different teams to deeply understand workflows and identify opportunities for improved productivity through engineering.
- Set technical direction and prioritize roadmap initiatives that drive the most impact for internal users.
- Foster a culture of rapid iteration, user feedback, and continuous improvement within the team.
- Champion best practices in API design, security, and user experience across the team.
- Monitor system reliability, build for operational excellence, and own incident response processes.
- Hire, develop, and retain top engineering talent.
What you need
- Have seven plus years of experience in software engineering, with two plus years in an engineering management role.
- Have a track record of building and shipping production full-stack software with a focus on usability.
- Have experience leading teams building and maintaining scalable internal applications and platforms.
- Demonstrate strong technical judgment across modern web development and cloud technologies.
- Are skilled at translating ambiguous user needs into clear technical direction and priorities.
- Communicate with empathy and strive to build strong relationships with stakeholders and direct reports alike.

- Bring a track record of developing engineers through coaching, mentoring, and structured feedback
