Electrical Technician (Power Generation) - Memphis
About this role
Switching, troubleshooting, and repairing medium-voltage generation and distribution equipment form the daily foundation of this position within the power generation team. Technicians handle plant electrical systems up to 13.5 kV and 34.8 kV, executing lock-out/tag-out procedures, racking breakers, and maintaining generators, transformers, and switchgear to keep the facility online. Operations require a hands-on approach in a fast-paced environment where safety and reliability dictate the pace.
The role exists to support continuous power generation operations through rigorous preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and rapid response to equipment failures. Candidates with industrial electrical experience who thrive in a flat organizational structure and demonstrate strong prioritization skills will find a suitable environment here. Success depends on clear communication, independent judgment, and strict adherence to safety protocols.
