Role Overview

The Director, Technology joins the global technology team to steer technical strategy, design transformative experiences, and solve client business challenges. This position involves partnering with cross-functional disciplines, guiding engineering teams, and establishing best practices across modern data stacks, cloud infrastructure, and emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate directly with clients to identify technology needs, recommend effective solutions, and build strong relationships.
Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of technology projects to ensure completion on time, within scope, and on budget.
Drive organic business growth alongside account leadership and implement delivery methodologies based on Lean and Agile principles.
Ensure top-tier quality standards in development through rigorous code reviews, testing, and performance optimization.
Identify, manage, and mitigate technology risks while ensuring strict adherence to security and compliance standards.
Support vendor partnerships and drive innovation within the engineering community by fostering continuous learning.

Requirements

Strong leadership experience in building, scaling, and mentoring engineering teams consisting of 10 or more developers.
Background leading simultaneous full-stack development teams across both web and mobile platforms.
Proven track record managing complex projects with multiple workstreams while maintaining quality and timeline accountability.
Experience managing globally distributed onshore and offshore teams under high levels of ambiguity.
Expertise in digital marketing technology stacks, modern architectural patterns such as Jamstack and MACH, and enterprise platforms like CMS, DAM, and CDN systems.
Hands-on experience designing and implementing microservices architecture at scale using cloud infrastructure including AWS, GCP, and Vercel.

Nice to Have

Specialized expertise in Adobe and AEM as an Edge Delivery Service practice lead and AEM architect.
Proficiency in leveraging modern AI coding tools like Gemini or Claude Code for spec-driven development and automated refactoring.
Experience with autonomous multi-agent systems, complex third-party API integrations, and robust authentication systems such as Auth0.
History of architecting and scaling secure e-commerce solutions with specialized focus on payment flows and CI/CD DevOps pipelines.

Salary and Benefits
