About this role

HugeInc is looking for a remote Director, AI Content Strategy within the United States to lead the creation and execution of advanced content systems. This leadership role suits an experienced strategist with a deep background in generative and conversational artificial intelligence who wants to shape scalable digital experiences for major global brands.

Role Overview

As the Director of AI Content Strategy, you will act as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor to internal teams and senior clients. You will lead projects designed to future-proof content ecosystems, defining governance frameworks, conversational guidelines, and actionable roadmaps. This position requires partnering closely with cross-disciplinary product, engineering, and design teams to deliver measurable results and world-class digital experiences across multiple channels.

Key Responsibilities

Drive comprehensive content governance, audits, workflow design, and lifecycle management.
Create and evolve information architecture, content models, taxonomy structures, and metadata systems.
Develop voice and tone frameworks, messaging guidelines, and systemized content patterns.
Design and lead conversation strategy for chat, voice, and next-generation agentic experiences, including dialogue flows and error-handling pathways.
Build AI content pipelines that incorporate frameworks for governance, training data readiness, and human-in-the-loop review.
Architect intent taxonomies, entity structures, and conversational knowledge hierarchies.
Work directly with engineering to deploy and optimize experiences across conversational AI platforms.
Lead client relationships, identify account growth opportunities, and contribute to winning proposals.

Requirements

12+ years of experience in content strategy, UX writing, content design, or adjacent strategic roles within an agency, consulting, or client services environment.
Proven background in enterprise-scale content systems, governance, and information architecture.
Expertise in content audits, lifecycle management, editorial strategy, and multi-channel planning.
Demonstrated proficiency in conversation design, dialogue flow mapping, and conversational AI platforms.
Solid understanding of large language model behavior, prompting, context windows, hallucination risks, and model limitations.
Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage large-scale client engagements.
Strong communication skills to translate complex systems into simple narratives.
Note that this remote position is currently unavailable for hire or work in New Mexico and Hawaii, USA.
