This position is ideal for an experienced systems professional eager to design a delivery infrastructure where humans and AI agents work side by side.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and operate a comprehensive CI/CD pipeline supporting a production Salesforce environment and custom applications, managing everything from initial branching to rollbacks.
Establish classification rules to route changes into agentic, human-in-the-loop, or AI-assisted lanes, including automated gates and risk-based escalation paths.
Implement agent operations layers that define tool permissions, scoping, sandboxing parameters, and strict boundaries for unsupervised actions.
Build distinct approval workflows for pull request reviews and business sign-offs, ensuring proper evidence tracking for SOX compliance.
Manage environment strategy, deploy observability, secrets handling, and emergency kill-switch mechanisms.
Measure pipeline performance metrics, such as lead times, failure rates, lane distribution, and efficiency gaps where human intervention can be reduced.

Requirements

Demonstrated experience building and operating team CI/CD pipelines, covering branching models, merge gating, and rollback strategies.
Practical background in Salesforce deployment methods including the metadata API and source-tracked development, or experience with equivalent enterprise platforms.
Working knowledge of AI coding tools, agentic workflows, and the technical boundaries between automated and human engineering tasks.
Strong focus on failure cases, blast radius limitations, sandboxing, and security permissions.
Familiarity with CI platforms like GitHub Actions, infrastructure as code, and integration scripting.
Ability to produce clear design documentation for engineers, business approvers, and auditors.
Minimum education of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.

Nice to Have

Experience shipping production-level agents or automation within a system of record.
Background operating platforms under SOX or comparable audit regimes.
