Key Responsibilities

Build and lead a top-tier discipline of data scientists and analysts focused on fighting financial crime activity.
Hire, develop, and retain talented data professionals while supporting their personal growth.
Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and financial crime control owners in an agile environment.
Generate actionable insights that redirect financial crime strategy and bring strategic understanding to complex projects.
Partner with risk and engineering leaders to ensure proper data collection for relevant business insights.

Requirements

At least 4 years of experience operating as a Data Science Manager, with a minimum of 2 years managing a data team larger than 4 people.
Strong strategic data leadership capabilities with a track record of driving data-backed decisions.
Demonstrated experience working alongside executive or C-level peers and managing multi-level stakeholders.
Proficiency in data science tools spanning business intelligence, experimentation, causal inference, and machine learning, alongside coding languages like Python and SQL.

Nice to Have

Prior professional experience working in financial crime, fraud detection, trust and safety, integrity, or security domains.
