Key Responsibilities

Act as a force multiplier to enhance skill sets of development partners, general contractors, and key trades through subject matter expertise.
Validate transaction viability from the letter of intent through lease execution, confirming all predevelopment, planning, technical, and business requirements are met.
Coordinate with landlords and developers post-deal as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, tracking construction progress and information exchange.
Represent the organization in technical and operational decisions during development to ensure infrastructure requirements are satisfied.
Drive handoffs to operational states by engaging networking and deployment teams to enable rapid workload turn-ups.
Prepare and present executive reporting on facility development progress versus plans to support capacity planning.
Identify and mitigate risks across the delivery lifecycle to prevent timeline, cost, or technical blockers.
Create standardized processes and playbooks for facility delivery to support scaling infrastructure footprints.

Requirements

Ten or more years of experience in site leadership managing data center delivery, construction projects, or infrastructure deployment at scale.
Comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end data center development process, covering entitlements, permitting, planning, supply chain, execution, commissioning, and handover.
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in a relevant field.

Nice to Have

Familiarity with artificial intelligence and machine learning infrastructure requirements like high-density power and advanced cooling systems.
Past leadership roles such as General Superintendent or Project Manager within a general contractor or engineering, procurement, and construction firm on hyperscale data center projects.
Experience prioritizing extreme ownership and building collaborative cultures across diverse job sites.
