About this role
Bridging the gap between raw AI capabilities and everyday adoption, the Imagine Product team at xAI needs a dedicated professional to establish Grok Imagine as an indispensable tool for creators and production houses. This role exists to transition public perception of the product from a novel technology into a practical, high-utility asset through targeted community outreach, high-impact showcases, and structured feedback loops.
Working alongside product, research, design, and engineering groups, the incoming lead will personally execute communications, manage external agencies, and cultivate direct relationships with individual makers and studio professionals alike. Ideal candidates are hands-on operators with strong editorial judgment who thrive in a small, flat organizational structure and possess the communication skills required to turn technical product features into compelling, credible public narratives.
What you will do
- Own the creator and community communications strategy for Grok Imagine to drive visible proof, creator adoption, and brand affinity.
- Build and ship product-showcase content across owned channels.
- Design and execute influencer programs targeting both broad awareness and specialized craft partners.
- Establish relationships with production houses, studios, and in-house creative teams to integrate the tool into real editorial and post-production pipelines.
- Manage external production vendors end-to-end, including bidding, contracts, workflow, and quality control.
- Monitor competing AI media products and build measurement frameworks to track which communications drive actual adoption.
What you need
- Proven experience leading communications, creator partnerships, or community programs for a consumer or creator-facing product.
- Demonstrated ability to independently execute briefs, outreach, content calendars, vendor management, and curation pipelines without a large support team.
- Hands-on experience working directly with creators, influencers, or professional media practitioners with strong judgment regarding reach versus credibility.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for precise internal alignment and compelling external messaging.
- Strong editorial judgment and adherence to strict brand standards.
- Comfort operating in a small, high-velocity team alongside product, research, design, and engineering.

- Background in AI-driven media, generative tools, or adjacent creative software.
