Role Overview

Anthropic is hiring a Commercial Operations Program Manager to join the team in San Francisco, CA or New York City, NY. This position involves turning commercial infrastructure into a revenue accelerator by building and executing operational leverage. The role requires strategic thinking combined with operational excellence to support rapid product growth.

Key Responsibilities

Manage programs for Commercial Launches, helping evolve launch motions into scalable programs that align with product roadmaps.
Run launches end-to-end through intake, scoping, and translating requirements for pricing, billing, tax, marketplace, compliance, and selling motions.
Identify launch bottlenecks, propose process and system changes, clarify ownership, and drive completion across Product, Engineering, Finance, Legal, and GTM teams.
Build program components such as launch tiering, readiness criteria, playbooks, templates, SLAs, and training.
Take ownership of program-improvement workstreams like instrumentation and workflow tooling or automation in partnership with Engineering.
Design clear interfaces and processes spanning multiple cross-functional teams.

Requirements

Experience building and running new product introduction processes.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations, with success in billing, payments, or commercial operations.
Working knowledge of billing systems, subscription management, and payments platforms.
Track record of building and scaling operational programs from 0-1 and beyond in high-growth environments.
Experience with automation initiatives and partnering with engineering teams to build operational tooling.
Analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, and the capacity to demonstrate ROI on operational programs.
Cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across GTM, Finance, Product, and Engineering.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Availability for a location-based hybrid policy requiring staff to be in an office at least 25% of the time.
