Inefficiencies and scaling bottlenecks in legal operations need to be resolved to support rapid organizational growth. Anthropic seeks a Commercial Legal Specialist to focus on technical AI implementation, integrating Claude and other technologies to optimize internal workflows and contract management platforms. Working within the Commercial Legal team, this person will drive AI adoption, build automated self-service solutions, and collaborate closely with Engineering and Product groups to scale legal operations efficiently.

What you will do
- Implement AI-powered solutions to streamline contract review and redlining processes.
- Manage integrations between existing legal systems and AI tools.
- Develop automated self-service solutions for high-volume, low-touch contracting processes, including FAQ chatbots and guided workflows.
- Create AI-based tools for handling commercial contract diligence requests and optimize contract management platforms.
- Build and maintain metrics dashboards to track efficiency improvements while establishing practical governance processes for AI use.
- Coordinate with Engineering and Product teams on solution development and program execution.
What you need
- Experience evaluating and implementing legal technology platforms such as contract management, workflow management, or document management tools.
- Genuine curiosity about AI/ML applications alongside hands-on experience with LLM tools, particularly Claude.
- Strong problem-solving abilities to translate legal business needs into scalable technical solutions.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and legal stakeholders.
- Self-directed project management capabilities to handle multiple technical projects simultaneously.

- At least 5 years of relevant experience in legal operations, legal technology, or technical roles supporting legal teams
