Role Overview

Joining DDN’s Global Centre of Excellence, this position sits within a high-impact strategic function of the pre-sales organisation. The mission is to help DDN win complex, high-value opportunities by equipping field teams with strategy, content, insights, and tools. The professional in this role focuses heavily on building an AI-driven function to drive strategic RFPs and RFIs, working alongside Account Teams, Product, and cross-functional partners to turn complex customer needs into compelling proposals.

Key Responsibilities

Own and orchestrate high-priority RFPs and RFIs from kickoff to submission, establishing response strategies, managing timelines, and ensuring high-quality proposals.

Translate technical capabilities into clear, customer-relevant value propositions that highlight DDN’s competitive advantages.

Shape overall response strategies, including win themes, executive messaging, competitive positioning, and customer-specific proof points.

Orchestrate cross-functional contributors across Sales, Solution Engineering, Product, and Marketing to align stakeholders.

Identify manual parts of the RFP process and build scalable solutions using AI and automation for content discovery, response generation, and knowledge retrieval.

Turn lessons from individual RFPs into reusable assets, templates, and self-service tools for the broader field.

Analyse proposal outcomes and feedback to continuously improve processes, content, and competitive positioning.

Requirements

Three or more years of experience in solution engineering, proposal management, technical pre-sales, management consulting, or a related role within a fast-paced technology environment.

Demonstrated experience managing or responding to complex technical RFPs or RFIs in enterprise technology or B2B software and hardware.

Hands-on experience using AI tools, Large Language Models, workflow automation, or knowledge-management systems to improve business processes.

A builder DNA with a natural drive to eliminate repetitive work and utilize automation to increase effectiveness.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convert complex technical information into persuasive customer-facing content.

Nice to Have

Basic knowledge of SQL, Python, APIs, or other technologies used to build and automate workflows.

Experience with workflow orchestration platforms such as Make, n8n, Zapier, or similar automation tools.

Familiarity with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), enterprise knowledge bases, or grounding AI agents in proprietary data.

An entrepreneurial mindset with experience building side projects, internal tools, or other initiatives from idea to execution.
