About this role
New product and pricing launches frequently fail to integrate smoothly across internal quote-to-cash systems, creating operational bottlenecks between initial sales conversations and final invoicing. This role solves that problem by taking direct ownership of the new product introduction process, ensuring that SKUs, pricing models, and billing structures function correctly from day one. You will join launch planning early to coordinate system changes across catalog, quoting, contracts, billing, tax, and reporting.
Working within an AI-first systems team, you will use Claude as part of your daily design, build, test, and documentation workflow while collaborating closely with product managers, finance teams, and engineers. Candidates who excel in this position possess hands-on experience with revenue systems, strong cross-functional communication skills, and a practical mindset for turning complex pricing strategies into repeatable operational workflows.
What you will do
- Own the end-to-end systems side of new product and pricing launches from initial discussion through launch day and the first billing cycle.
- Translate pricing and packaging decisions into concrete system components including SKUs, price books, bundles, discount rules, and reporting structures.
- Build and run a repeatable new product introduction playbook covering intake, readiness checklists, sign-offs, and post-launch reviews.
- Collaborate early with product and pricing teams to evaluate feasibility and propose viable alternatives for quoting, billing, and reporting.
- Coordinate required changes across Salesforce, billing, and tax platforms by working directly with the teams that own each system.
- Perform hands-on declarative building in Salesforce and write clear specifications for developers to implement the remaining requirements.
- Verify post-launch data accuracy by checking that quotes, orders, invoices, and finance reports align correctly.
What you need
- Demonstrated experience in go-to-market or revenue systems as a business systems analyst or similar role with hands-on launch ownership.
- Hands-on experience with CPQ tools such as Salesforce CPQ or Revenue Cloud, including product and pricing data models and price books.
- Working understanding of how pricing decisions impact bookings, invoicing, tax, and revenue recognition.
- Experience managing cross-functional processes involving multiple stakeholders such as product, finance, legal, and sales to meet fixed launch dates.
- Hands-on Salesforce administration skills including flows, validation rules, page layouts, and approval processes.
- Clear communication abilities tailored to diverse audiences ranging from technical engineers to business stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience with usage-based or consumption pricing and billing platforms like Stripe, Metronome, or Zuora
- Experience migrating existing customers to new pricing models at scale
- Experience setting up tax configurations and tax engines such as Anrok or Avalara
- Familiarity with integrations between Salesforce and billing, ERP, or provisioning systems
- Basic SQL skills and data warehouse familiarity, alongside Salesforce certifications

What is the compensation range for this position?
The annual salary range for this role is $270,000 to $315,000 USD.
