Role Overview

As an Applied AI Architect for Strategic Enterprise Tech, you operate as a trusted technical advisor helping major enterprises understand the value of Claude. Working alongside account executives, you co-own account plans, build executive technical champions, and drive multi-quarter adoption roadmaps. You combine deep technical expertise with strong customer-facing skills to architect innovative LLM solutions that solve business challenges while prioritizing safety and reliability. You guide customers from initial discovery through evaluation and successful deployment, working with both the Claude API and Claude for Enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with account executives to translate customer requirements into technical solutions that align business objectives with implementation strategies.
Serve as the primary technical advisor throughout the enterprise adoption journey, managing discovery, evaluation, and deployment.
Guide customers on overall AI adoption strategies, including use case scoping, architecture reviews, and adoption workshops.
Create and deliver tailored technical content ranging from engineering deep dives to business value discussions for executives.
Build working solutions by reproducing customer environments and problems to prove the path to production.
Collaborate closely with internal product and engineering teams to relay customer needs and guide architecture decisions.
Help customers develop evaluation frameworks to measure Claude's performance for specific use cases.
Travel occasionally to customer locations for workshops, technical deep dives, and relationship building.

Requirements

Bring eight or more years of experience in roles such as Field CTO, Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, or Product Manager, complete with hands-on building background.
Demonstrate experience working with enterprise customers and navigating complex, multi-stakeholder buying cycles.
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study or possess an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Maintain familiarity with common LLM frameworks and tools, machine learning, or data science.
Show comfort working with Python and designing scalable cloud architectures.
