Key Responsibilities

Design, construct, test, and maintain native Android product experiences utilizing Kotlin and current mobile development methods.
Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to build scalable features and establish clear application programming interfaces and data contracts.
Participate in architectural choices and technical decisions covering modular design, application performance, and maintainability.
Track software performance, crash logs, user feedback, and product metrics to resolve issues and enhance stability.
Manage the application release process including builds, signing, testing via Firebase, and publishing through the Google Play Store.
Assist engineering team growth through code reviews, technical documentation, knowledge sharing, and peer onboarding.

Requirements

Professional experience creating, testing, debugging, and shipping native Android mobile applications.
Working knowledge of Kotlin along with modern mobile tools such as Coroutines, Jetpack libraries, ViewModel, Flow, Navigation, Room, Retrofit, and OkHttp.
Familiarity with Android application architecture, component lifecycles, and platform design standards.
Background in designing mobile software via scalable and modular architectural patterns including Model-View-ViewModel.
Experience connecting mobile software to RESTful application programming interfaces and coordinating data contracts with backend developers.
Willingness to incorporate artificial intelligence tools into daily tasks while maintaining high output standards.
Ability to relocate to the Boston, Massachusetts office if required.
