Role Overview

DDN seeks an AI Value Engineer to join the global Go to Market Centre of Excellence. In this position, the professional helps enterprise clients quantify and communicate the business value of DDN technology solutions. The role bridges technology, strategy, and commercial value by creating repeatable methodologies and supporting strategic customer engagements.

Key Responsibilities

Lead AI value discovery workshops with enterprise prospects to understand infrastructure challenges and AI strategies.

Build robust financial models including return on investment, total cost of ownership, and business case evaluations for AI investments.

Quantify financial and operational impacts such as scalability, resource utilization, performance improvements, and faster time-to-value.

Partner with product marketing and product teams to create AI value messaging, success metrics, and customer proof points.

Maintain market intelligence, benchmarks, and competitive insights focused on AI infrastructure economics.

Contribute to the establishment and scaling of the DDN AI Value Engineering Centre of Excellence.

Requirements

Minimum of five years of professional experience in strategy, management consulting, value engineering, solutions consulting, sales engineering, or related customer-facing fields.

Proven track record of developing investment business cases, financial models, ROI, and TCO evaluations.

Strong analytical capabilities to transform complex datasets into clear, compelling commercial narratives.

Outstanding communication and presentation skills tailored for C-level executives and senior leadership.

Ability to navigate lengthy enterprise sales cycles involving multiple cross-functional stakeholders.

Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Business, or a related field.

Nice to Have

Familiarity with AI and machine learning workloads alongside the underlying infrastructure needs.

Background advising enterprise clients regarding technology investments, digital transformation, or artificial intelligence strategy.

Fluency in English combined with additional European language proficiencies.
