About this role

CertifyOS is seeking an AI & Support Automation Engineer for a remote position based in Bengaluru, India. This role is ideal for an experienced software professional with a passion for building production-ready generative AI workflows and automation systems that transform customer support operations.

Role Overview

CertifyOS is looking for hands-on engineers to lead support automation initiatives and personally design, build, and deploy AI solutions from end to end. The professional in this position will spot support challenges, construct automated workflows, push them to production, and maintain continuous improvement across the system.

Key Responsibilities

Spot high-impact support processes that are prime candidates for artificial intelligence and automation.
Architect, construct, integrate, test, and deploy intelligent agents and automated workflows.
Create solutions utilizing large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, and automated workflows.
Construct complete artificial intelligence pipelines spanning data ingestion, orchestration, model execution, tool actions, evaluation, and production monitoring.
Connect artificial intelligence systems with customer relationship management platforms, ticketing software, knowledge bases, and internal tools.
Track model quality, precision, operational costs, latency, and overall business value while driving ongoing enhancements.
Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to spearhead transformation driven by artificial intelligence.

Requirements

Bring a minimum of three years of total professional background in software development, machine learning, technical operations, or support technology.
Possess at least two years of practical involvement in generative artificial intelligence and large language model application development with proven production credentials.
Demonstrate background in workflow engineering, system integrations, and automation.
Show a strong history of moving artificial intelligence projects from initial architecture and concept all the way through production deployment.
Master programming languages including Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
Understand large language model application development, vector databases, embeddings, and retrieval-augmented generation.
Familiarity with tool calling, agentic workflows, and model context protocols.
Experience handling REST APIs, webhooks, SQL database queries, and system-level integrations.
Know how to set up guardrails, monitoring, observability, and evaluation while optimizing cost and latency.
Background in continuous integration, continuous deployment, and troubleshooting automated environments.

Nice to Have

Exposure to platforms and models such as OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Gemini, and Claude Code.
Familiarity with orchestration and automation tools like LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, n8n, Make, Zapier, and Power Automate.
Knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP, alongside containerization using Docker.
Experience with helpdesk and customer management tools like Zendesk, Salesforce, Jira, Freshdesk, and Zoho.
