About this role

Typeform builds a form builder that helps over 150,000 businesses collect data through forms, surveys, and quizzes, driving 500 million responses every year. The Product Operations team is establishing an internal AI Operations capability for R&D to systemize experimentation with tools like Glean and Claude, automations, and agents.

This role involves building and operating the internal AI Operations capability by identifying high-value problems, designing solutions, coordinating delivery, and ensuring ongoing performance. The person in this position will own the connection between AI strategy and daily execution across R&D, working closely with Product, Engineering, Design, IT, and InfoSec.

An ideal candidate combines systems thinking, AI fluency, user discovery, technical execution, and operational ownership to turn ambiguous opportunities into reliable, adopted solutions. Applicants must be based in the UK, Ireland, Germany, Portugal, or the Netherlands for this fully remote position.

What you will do

  • Build and continuously improve the backlog of AI opportunities across R&D to prioritize jobs where artificial intelligence has the greatest impact.
  • Take ambiguous problems from initial discovery through to delivery, including user understanding, design, implementation, testing, launch, and measurement.
  • Design simple, AI-native solutions that fit into existing workflows, determining whether a prompt, workflow, integration, agent, or custom application is appropriate.
  • Partner with IT and InfoSec to help R&D extract more value from enterprise AI tools such as Glean and Claude regarding access, configuration, and support.
  • Own the lifecycle of internal AI systems, establishing practical approaches for evaluation, testing, reliability, observability, security, and maintenance.
  • Partner with teams across R&D to uncover needs, unblock delivery, clarify ownership, and help evolve AI governance and enablement practices.
  • Collaborate with Finance and other partners to monitor AI tool usage, spend, and value in order to inform investment decisions.
  • Explore and support the development of autonomous agents to improve planning, discovery, design, building, and evaluation across the product lifecycle.

What you need

  • Strong practical experience applying artificial intelligence to real-world problems by building solutions that people actually use.
  • A track record of taking ambiguous problems from discovery through implementation, testing, adoption, and ongoing improvement.
  • Excellent systems thinking to understand how people, processes, tools, data flows, and technical constraints fit together.
  • Strong user and workflow discovery skills to understand the real job to be done and simplify complex solutions.
  • Hands-on technical fluency and comfort building, modifying, and troubleshooting internal workflows, automations, agents, or applications.
  • Practical experience with modern development practices and tools such as GitHub, repositories, pull requests, application hosting, and deployment.
  • Experience managing work independently by prioritizing backlogs, handling dependencies, documenting decisions, and communicating with stakeholders.
  • Good judgment around responsible AI, security, access, governance, and collaboration with appropriate cross-functional partners.
