Role Overview

The AI Native Software Engineer (Background Core Java) position involves leading the design and creation of robust backend systems for digital solutions. This role requires working alongside cross-functional teams to build high-grade software, guide technical choices, and support the growth of other developers within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and sustain scalable, high-performance backend services utilizing Java 17+ and Spring Boot.
Create and maintain RESTful APIs while maintaining security, performance, scalability, and integration with frontend platforms.
Construct and refine microservices architectures using software engineering best practices, clean architecture, and design patterns.
Engage in the complete software development lifecycle, covering requirement analysis, design, building, testing, launching, and support.
Work alongside Solution Architects, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and Tech Leads to convert business requirements into technical outputs.
Maintain code standards through peer reviews, automated tests, clean code methods, and adherence to established practices.
Support and advise junior team members to encourage technical growth, continuous learning, and knowledge transfer.
Take part in internal research and development projects and community activities.

Requirements

Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
Minimum of 4 years of professional backend development experience utilizing Java.
Advanced proficiency in Java 17+, Spring Boot, Spring Data, and Spring Security.
Demonstrated background in microservices architecture and RESTful API creation.
Familiarity with Agile practices and testing tools including JUnit and Mockito.
Competence in SQL and NoSQL database systems such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MongoDB.
Professional fluency in English backed by strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Nice to Have

Background in event-driven architectures utilizing RabbitMQ or Kafka.
Experience working with cloud infrastructure services such as AWS, GCP, Azure, or IBM Cloud.
Knowledge of container tools like Docker and Kubernetes, including Helm, RBAC, and autoscaling.
Familiarity with deployment pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab.
Experience with monitoring and observability platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK Stack.
Background using Apache Camel or WebFlux.
