Role Overview

DDN is expanding its Enterprise AI offerings by integrating industry-leading technologies with DDN Infinia and DDN EXAScaler storage solutions. These systems are optimized for inference, RAG, and agentic workflows, requiring precise integration into customer environments. The engineer will deploy complete AI solutions, combining NVIDIA AI Enterprise services, vector databases, high-performance storage, and networking fabrics either remotely or onsite.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the primary technical point of contact for strategic customers deploying DDN AI solutions.

Collaborate with pre-sales teams to interpret design considerations during deployment.

Drive operational efficiency through automation, documentation, tooling, and repeatable workflows.

Develop and deploy scripts and tools, including system monitoring and metrics-based tools, to support customer environments.

Support AI, data-intensive, and HPC workloads operating at scale across on-prem, hybrid, and cloud-adjacent environments.

Work closely with clients to optimize AI applications for seamless integration with DDN technology.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior technical role deploying complex, customer-facing production systems.

Practical experience administering and operating Lustre or comparable parallel file systems in large-scale settings.

Familiarity with object storage and S3-compatible systems.

Deep knowledge of Linux systems, encompassing performance tuning and troubleshooting.

Solid comprehension of distributed storage architectures, networking fundamentals, and data movement at scale.

Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, build trusted technical relationships, and collaborate across cross-functional groups.

Nice to Have

Experience with parallel file systems like IBM Spectrum Scale or StorNext.

Background in developing and debugging automation using Python, Bash, or shell scripting.

Understanding of networking technologies including InfiniBand, Ethernet, TCP/IP, and routing.

Knowledge of NVIDIA AI Enterprise services, such as NIMs, NeMo, Triton, and TensorRT-LLM, alongside vector databases like Milvus.

Familiarity with NAS, data transfer protocols, authentication systems, and network diagnostics.

Exposure to AI/ML infrastructure operations, GPU-accelerated environments, and orchestration tools like Kubernetes or SLURM.
