This opportunity suits an experienced infrastructure professional who wants to oversee capacity planning, data management, and operational workflows for a rapidly growing AI compute fleet.

Key Responsibilities

Convert demand forecasting inputs from research, pretraining, and inference teams into concrete technical requirements for shape, interconnect, region, and dates.
Participate directly in sourcing negotiations and data center build reviews to evaluate how contractual terms impact delivery schedules.
Qualify upcoming hardware tranches for deliverability before contract signing, ensuring proper infrastructure can land schedulable, healthy, and instrumented.
Manage the integrated schedule and system of record for every tranche in flight, tracking progression from contract through reserved, ingested, and occupied states.
Publish variance metrics comparing forecasted timelines against actual delivery to refine future contracts and planning models.
Drive readiness automation across providers, cluster creation, network turn-up, storage readiness, and health burn-in phases.

Requirements

Significant background in delivering large-scale infrastructure environments such as cloud regions, accelerator clusters, HPC systems, or bare-metal fleets at multi-region scale or equal to ten thousand or more accelerators.
Deep technical range extending from cluster orchestration and node health down to telemetry and planning layers.
Proficiency in SQL and enough Python capabilities to build custom reporting and independently query data.
Holding a degree in a technical field or demonstrating an equivalent engineering professional record.

Nice to Have

Experience with reserved-capacity onboarding, private offers, or capacity commitments involving cloud or neocloud providers.
Prior exposure to demand planning, translating forecasts into specific per-tranche technical requirements, and feeding delivery variance back into models.
Direct data center or colocation delivery background covering power, space planning, network turn-up, site acceptance, and vendor management.
Knowledge of accelerator health, burn-in processes, collective-communications sanity testing, and fleet-health service level objectives.
Background handling systems of record, lifecycle infrastructure asset services, or bringing new hardware generations into active schedulers.
