Role Overview

The Agent Strategist position at Sierra in South Korea is a full-time role focused on bringing customer-facing AI agents to life from initial pilot to production. This position suits professionals who thrive at the intersection of technology and business, partnering closely with enterprise leaders to solve complex challenges using advanced artificial intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

Own the entire Agent Development Life Cycle, taking agents from initial scope through conversation design, tooling, and evaluation to launch and continuous iteration.
Act as a trusted strategic advisor to enterprise executives, helping them understand success and shaping the AI strategy to achieve business goals.
Partner directly with customer working teams by running working sessions, troubleshooting agent issues, and keeping builds on track.
Influence product development by feeding unmet customer needs back to the research and platform teams.
Scope and launch specialized agents, such as subscription-retention agents, commerce troubleshooting assistants, and regulated financial services tools.

Requirements

Strong customer obsession and genuine enthusiasm for understanding client business needs within complex organizations.
Professional fluency in both English and Korean for clear and persuasive communication across technical and non-technical audiences.
Strategic problem-solving skills in ambiguous environments, including analytical and critical-thinking capabilities to spot risks early.
Technical aptitude to engage with concepts like API documentation, data models, system architecture, and engineering tradeoffs.
Proven track record of strong ownership and delivery, running multiple complex and high-visibility projects simultaneously.

Nice to Have

Experience building or deploying AI or LLM agents in production, with hands-on familiarity with tools like eval frameworks, agent tooling, RAG, and prompt engineering.
Background as a founder, founding team member, or operator balancing craft, ownership, and speed.
A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field, alongside practical experience or an MBA.
