Instawork

Instawork operates an AI-powered labor marketplace that connects local businesses and global technology companies with reliable, vetted temporary and permanent workers across more than 400 cities in the United States and Canada. The company applies machine learning and AI tools to handle worker matching, scheduling, background checks, and compliance, serving industries such as warehousing, food service, hospitality, retail, and events. Through Instawork Robotics Labs (IRL), the company also addresses data collection challenges for physical AI by deploying skilled workers into real-world environments like kitchens, warehouses, and homes to capture high-fidelity task data used by robotics labs to train foundation models.

The open roles indicate that Instawork is building specialized teams to support its robotics and data initiatives, specifically within its Instawork Robotics Labs division. The available positions include leadership and technical roles such as Head of Partnerships, Head of Operations, Video Platform Engineer, and Field Engineering Technician. These open roles are located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, and require experience in building distributed systems, hardware troubleshooting, media processing, and scaling physical operations.
