Role Overview

Hevo Data is hiring a Video Marketer to join the marketing team in Bangalore, India. This position focuses on driving the end-to-end production of high-quality video content that simplifies complex data engineering concepts. The candidate will take charge of the entire post-production pipeline, transforming written scripts into clear, visually compelling videos.

Key Responsibilities

Produce both short-form and long-form video content, including product explainers, customer success stories, thought leadership pieces, and social media clips from initial brief to final delivery.
Convert written scripts into engaging visual narratives through pacing, smooth transitions, motion graphics, and professional audio design.
Design and animate motion graphics utilizing Adobe After Effects while managing the post-production workflow in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
Execute complete audio mixing to achieve a polished end product.
Partner closely with design, content, and marketing colleagues to guarantee video assets match campaign goals and brand standards.
Research and adopt modern tools covering AI video creation, automated b-roll generation, audio enhancement, and storyboard design.
Plan and manage on-site video shoots independently, operating Sony mirrorless cameras, lighting rigs, and collar or boom microphone setups.
Review all completed projects thoroughly to eliminate render artifacts, audio sync issues, and brief deviations prior to submission.

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of professional experience working in video production and editing.
Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve based on actual project experience.
Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects with the capability to build, keyframe, and animate motion graphics independently.
Thorough understanding of video editing principles, encompassing visual rhythm, pacing, cuts, color correction, and sound mixing.
Strong visual storytelling capability to translate written copy into compelling video formats accurately.
Excellent attention to detail combined with accountability for output quality.
Willingness to experiment with emerging production technologies, generative b-roll, and AI video tools.
Practical experience handling Sony mirrorless cameras, lighting equipment, and audio interfaces for independent shoots.

Nice to Have

Background in B2B, tech, or SaaS video production.
Prior familiarity with analytics or data engineering concepts.
