Role Overview

The UX Designer will manage the user experience for the core application at ActAI. The position involves designing end-to-end user journeys for daily tasks, establishing how users monitor artificial intelligence operations, maintaining user control, and managing error recovery.

Key Responsibilities

Own user experience for core application surfaces across Android, iOS, and web platforms.
Design complete user flows for artificial intelligence assisted tasks ranging from intent capture to completion, progress tracking, and error recovery.
Create methods for the application to display artificial intelligence actions, decisions, and points requiring user confirmation.
Map and design system states including loading, thinking, acting, waiting, completing, stalling, failing, and recovering.
Collaborate with product, engineering, and machine learning teams to define user requirements and design solutions.
Conduct usability research to identify points where users lose trust or disengage.
Produce wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity designs for engineering implementation.
Contribute to the design system and shared user experience patterns.

Requirements

Professional background as a user experience designer working on consumer mobile or web applications alongside a strong portfolio.
Proficiency in user flow design, wireframing, and high-fidelity prototyping using Figma.
Capability to design for asynchronous, non-deterministic, and context-dependent systems.
Understanding of user trust, control, feedback, and transparency in artificial intelligence products.
Experience conducting user research and applying findings to design choices.
Ability to handle fast-moving environments with evolving product scopes.
