About this role
Managing daily cash flows, administering the global bank account portfolio, and overseeing cash pooling arrangements across jurisdictions form the core daily routine in this role. The incoming Treasury Manager will own short, medium, and long-term liquidity planning at both entity and group levels while actively shaping the digitisation and automation of the treasury function.
Reporting directly to the Global Finance Director, this high-visibility position sits at the intersection of operational finance and long-term capital strategy. The person in this position will collaborate closely with Accounting, Controlling, Corporate Development, and senior leadership to support rapid company growth. Candidates who bring a rigorous analytical approach, substantial corporate treasury experience, and fluency in both English and German will thrive in this environment.
What you will do
- Manage daily cash flows, administer the global bank account portfolio, and oversee cash pooling arrangements across jurisdictions.
- Own short, medium, and long-term liquidity planning at both entity and group levels to keep the business informed and solvent.
- Play an active role in M&A financing activity by developing and structuring financing models to support acquisitions and post-merger integration.
- Identify, evaluate, and actively mitigate financial risks such as currency and interest rate exposures through appropriate hedging instruments.
- Build and strategically develop relationships with national and international banking partners while negotiating terms, facilities, and conditions.
- Support the structuring and procurement of external financing instruments like syndicated loans, guarantees, and letters of credit.
- Own the treasury system landscape, including the Treasury Management System, and drive automation of reporting and payment processes.
- Produce high-quality treasury reports, liquidity analyses, and dashboards that provide management with clear financial intelligence.
What you need
- Have substantive experience in a corporate treasury function within an international company or in a relevant banking environment.
- Demonstrate deep practical knowledge of cash management, international payment transactions, and financial risk hedging in complex environments.
- Show proficiency in one or more leading Treasury Management Systems and comfort navigating enterprise resource planning systems such as SAP.
- Have contributed to significant capital or financing events, including external debt structuring or M&A financing, end-to-end.
- Bring a strong analytical approach and meticulous attention to detail balanced with a pragmatic, solutions-focused mindset.
- Be fluent in both English and German to operate effectively across an international stakeholder landscape.
Nice to have
- Experience independently scoping, selecting, and implementing a new Treasury Management System from the ground up
- Familiarity with capital market transaction structuring, or hands-on experience in M&A treasury integration
- Professional treasury or finance qualifications such as CTP or CFA
- Prior experience working in a defence, deep tech, or high-growth technology environment
