Role Overview

As the first Founding Technical Sourcer at Candid Health, the successful candidate will design the entire sourcing strategy and establish the blueprint for attracting top industry talent. This position involves setting up artificial intelligence infrastructure, defining key success metrics, and executing outreach to drive candidate generation. The role operates within the People department and requires managing the full hiring funnel while collaborating closely with engineering leaders.

Key Responsibilities

Define the overall vision, operational model, and objectives for the new sourcing function while optimizing the underlying technology stack.
Deploy, configure, and manage artificial intelligence sourcing agents to handle candidate discovery, top-of-funnel messaging, and multi-touch engagement workflows.
Design and execute targeted technology events, meetups, and campaigns to establish the organization as an employer of choice.
Lead technical intake sessions with engineering leaders to understand complex technology stacks, niche roles, and changing hiring priorities.
Craft hyper-personalized outreach strategies across multiple platforms to optimize conversion metrics throughout the hiring funnel.
Measure funnel conversions, iterate on outreach experiments, and report strategy outcomes directly to leadership.

Requirements

Bring at least five years of technical sourcing experience working within high-growth environments, such as series D plus startups or hyper-scale companies.
Demonstrate proven success in building sourcing strategies from scratch or acting as a lead sourcer defining strategy and metrics for a growing function.
Possess hands-on experience implementing artificial intelligence-powered sourcing tools, custom automation tools, and generative messaging systems.
Exhibit a high capacity to rapidly digest complex technical concepts, developer domains, and hiring tools during intake sessions.
Show a strong analytical baseline to measure funnel conversions, run outreach experiments, and report on strategy outcomes.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated starting annual base salary range for this position is $150,000 to $190,000 USD, which serves as a guideline based on market data.
