About this role
The day-to-day work for the Technical Recruiter involves a blend of proactive sourcing, hands-on execution, and consultative advisory within a specialized practice area. This role is central to supporting Zinnov's Globalisation Excellence (GE) practice, which focuses on helping enterprises build and scale Global Capability Centers end-to-end. The recruiter will own complex client journeys across GCC advisory, managed services, and outsourcing models, influencing leadership decisions regarding talent and operating strategies.
Key responsibilities include driving sourcing efforts for a wide range of mid-level engineering roles, particularly within Software, Cloud, Data, and AI domains. A significant part of the job involves leveraging modern recruiting technologies and AI tools to enhance sourcing productivity and candidate engagement. The recruiter will also act as a strategic partner, consulting with business leaders and engineering managers to align hiring needs with market intelligence.

What you will do
- Drive proactive sourcing for various mid-level technical roles including Software Engineers, Cloud Engineers, Data Engineers, and DevOps Engineers.
- Build strong passive talent pipelines by utilizing market mapping, talent intelligence, referrals, and social sourcing techniques.
- Source and hire emerging AI talent such as AI Engineers, Machine Learning Engineers, Generative AI Engineers, Data Scientists, and MLOps Engineers.
- Leverage GenAI and AI-enabled recruiting platforms to improve sourcing productivity and candidate discovery.
- Assess early-career and technical talent through structured interviews and assessment centers.
- Match candidate strengths and aspirations with business needs to ensure optimal placement.
- Partner with Engineering Managers to understand hiring priorities and technical competencies.
What you need
- A Bachelor’s degree is required, with a Master’s or MBA in HR or related fields being preferred.
- Candidates must possess 4 to 6 years of hands-on technical recruiting experience within Product Engineering, Digital Engineering, GCCs, or technology organizations.
- Demonstrated success in hiring roles such as Software Engineers, Senior Software Engineers, Full Stack Engineers, Backend Engineers, Frontend Engineers, Cloud Engineers, Data Engineers, and QA Automation Engineers is necessary.
- Exceptional sourcing expertise across Software Engineering, AI/ML, Cloud, Data Engineering, and Digital technologies is required, including the ability to build high-quality passive talent pipelines.
- Hands-on experience hiring AI/ML talent, specifically AI Engineers, Machine Learning Engineers, Generative AI Engineers, Data Scientists, and MLOps Engineers is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in using AI-powered recruiting platforms and GenAI tools for sourcing and market mapping is required.
