Capco is seeking a Technical Project Manager in Vadodara to lead large, complex epics and technology programmes across the financial services sector. The person in this role will coordinate across multiple engineering teams and business stakeholders, driving end-to-end delivery from initial planning through release and closure.
This position exists to inject structure, ownership, and predictability into complex delivery environments while managing dependencies and risks. What you will do
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of large and complex technical epics across multiple engineering teams.
- Partner closely with architects, product managers, and business stakeholders to align on scope and timelines.
- Break down complex initiatives into manageable workstreams, milestones, and delivery plans.
- Drive delivery by tracking progress, identifying bottlenecks, and proactively resolving impediments.
- Establish robust delivery governance including status reporting, RAID management, and milestone tracking.
- Facilitate technical discussions to ensure clear ownership, accountability, and timely follow-through.
What you need
- Bring 8 to 12 years of overall experience with a strong focus on technical project management and engineering delivery.
- Demonstrate proven experience managing software development teams and their end-to-end delivery cycles.
- Possess a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle, modern engineering practices, and release management.
- Apply strong experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies, backlog management, and sprint planning.
- Exhibit brilliant written and verbal communication skills for interacting with both engineers and senior leadership.
- Show a demonstrated ability to manage risks, dependencies, competing priorities, and changing requirements.
Nice to have
- Prior experience delivering AI, Generative AI, or Machine Learning projects
- Understanding of the AI and ML solution delivery lifecycle
- Experience managing cloud, data, API, platform, or enterprise-scale engineering initiatives
