BJAK seeks a Technical Product Manager to lead an AI stockbroking superapp in Hong Kong on a full-time remote basis. This position suits professionals with a strong background in complex financial technology who excel at managing regulated products from strategy to launch.

Role Overview

The Technical Product Manager manages a product vertical from strategy and metrics through technical design, delivery, and launch. The position focuses on building an AI-native financial superapp encompassing payments, insurance, wealth, and trading while balancing regulatory constraints and deterministic system controls.

Key Responsibilities

Owns a product vertical end-to-end, covering strategy, metrics, roadmap, priorities, and delivery.
Shapes technical design with engineering teams across APIs, data flows, ledgering, reconciliation, failure handling, security, and scalability.
Evaluates trade-offs concerning correctness, speed, cost, reliability, regulatory requirements, and user experience.
Integrates regulatory requirements into the product, including KYC, transaction monitoring, limits, privacy, and licensing.
Implements AI features with proper evaluation, safeguards, human oversight, and failure handling.
Navigates external dependencies like regulatory approvals, financial rails, and third-party partners.
Coordinates Engineering, Design, Compliance, Operations, Treasury, and Finance teams around product decisions and launch criteria.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of product management experience, including ownership of complex technical products from strategy to production.
Technical foundation spanning system architecture, APIs, databases, workflows, failure modes, and distributed systems.
Background working alongside engineers to review, challenge, and contribute to technical designs.
Experience in a regulated, high-consequence product domain such as payments, banking, remittance, insurance, or trading.
Product judgment for navigating technical, regulatory, and operational constraints.
Experience building with LLMs or AI products, including evaluation, reliability, and appropriate scoping.

Nice to Have

Engineering or highly technical product background.
Experience launching zero-to-one fintech or consumer products.
Experience defining evaluation frameworks for machine learning or LLM-powered products.
