Role Overview

BJAK seeks a Technical Product Manager to oversee a product vertical from initial strategy and technical design to delivery and launch. The position focuses on building reliable, auditable financial systems that integrate artificial intelligence responsibly alongside deterministic workflows. The role operates within a distributed global team requiring strong English communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a product vertical end-to-end, covering strategy, metrics, roadmaps, priorities, and execution.
Collaborate with engineering teams to shape technical designs involving APIs, data flows, ledgering, security, and scalability.
Balance trade-offs concerning correctness, speed, cost, reliability, regulations, and user experience.
Integrate regulatory requirements such as KYC, transaction monitoring, privacy, and licensing into product features.
Deploy artificial intelligence solutions with proper evaluation metrics, safety guardrails, and human oversight.
Coordinate product launches while navigating external dependencies like regulatory approvals and financial rails.
Align cross-functional teams including engineering, design, compliance, operations, treasury, and finance.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of product management experience overseeing complex technical products from concept to production.
Technical foundation covering system architecture, application programming interfaces, databases, and distributed systems.
Experience collaborating with engineering staff to evaluate and challenge technical designs.
Background in regulated high-consequence domains such as payments, banking, remittance, insurance, or trading.
Ability to make difficult decisions under technical, regulatory, and operational limitations.
Experience developing applications with large language models or artificial intelligence, including reliability and evaluation frameworks.

Nice to Have

Background in engineering or highly technical product management.
Experience launching zero-to-one financial technology or consumer applications.
Experience designing evaluation frameworks for machine learning or large language model features.
