Role Overview

BJAK is hiring a Technical Product Manager to oversee an artificial intelligence stockbroking super application across Southeast Asia. The professional in this position will handle an entire product vertical from initial strategy and technical design to delivery and launch. The company operates globally with a team spanning over twenty nationalities and emphasizes building reliable, regulated financial applications.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a product vertical end-to-end, covering strategy, metrics, roadmap, prioritization, and delivery.
Collaborate with engineering teams to shape technical designs involving APIs, data flows, ledgering, reconciliation, failure handling, security, and scalability.
Balance trade-offs regarding correctness, speed, cost, reliability, regulatory demands, and user experience.
Integrate regulatory requirements such as KYC, transaction monitoring, limits, privacy, and licensing directly into the product.
Implement artificial intelligence solutions with proper evaluation, safeguards, human oversight, and failure handling.
Navigate external constraints including regulatory approvals, financial rails, and third-party partnerships.
Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders across engineering, design, compliance, operations, treasury, and finance.

Requirements

Minimum of five years of product management experience managing complex technical products from strategy to production.
Solid technical foundation encompassing system architecture, APIs, databases, workflows, failure modes, and distributed systems.
Proven ability to partner with engineers and evaluate technical designs.
Background in a regulated or high-consequence domain such as payments, banking, remittance, insurance, or trading.
Demonstrated product judgment under technical, regulatory, and operational limitations.
Practical experience building with large language models or artificial intelligence products, including evaluation and reliability frameworks.

Nice to Have

Background in engineering or a highly technical product role.
Experience launching zero-to-one financial technology or consumer applications.
Experience designing evaluation frameworks tailored for machine learning or large language model applications.
