Role Overview

The Technical Product Manager manages a product vertical from initial strategy and technical design to delivery and launch. The role focuses on building reliable, auditable, and regulated financial products for payments, remittance, insurance, wealth, and trading.

Key Responsibilities

Owns a product vertical end-to-end, covering strategy, metrics, roadmaps, priorities, and delivery.
Collaborates with engineering to shape technical designs for APIs, data flows, ledgering, reconciliation, security, and scalability.
Balances trade-offs involving correctness, speed, cost, reliability, regulatory needs, and user experience.
Integrates regulatory obligations into products, including KYC, transaction monitoring, privacy, and licensing.
Implements artificial intelligence where it genuinely improves outcomes while maintaining safeguards and oversight.
Navigates external dependencies such as regulatory approvals, financial rails, and third-party partners.
Coordinates engineering, design, compliance, operations, treasury, and finance teams around launch requirements.

Requirements

Five or more years of product management experience with ownership of complex technical products from strategy to production.
Technical foundation covering system architecture, APIs, databases, distributed systems, and failure modes.
Demonstrated ability to review, challenge, and contribute to technical designs alongside engineers.
Experience in a regulated, high-consequence domain like payments, banking, remittance, insurance, or trading.
Background in building with large language models or artificial intelligence products, including evaluation and reliability.

Nice to Have

Engineering or highly technical product background.
Experience launching zero-to-one fintech or consumer products.
Experience defining evaluation frameworks for machine learning or large language model-powered products.
